About us

The Fairy Dogmother was officially established in November 2017 after many years of devotion to mans best friend. Shauna's journey began at Dogs Trust where she volunteered weekly whilst studying Animal Management at Northern Regional College. This provided the solid foundation of knowledge on which to build a successful but most importantly animal-centered business.

Following her graduation, Shauna completed an intensive Dog-Grooming course which solidified her love of working with dogs, and she was determined to make this dream a reality. Mastering her trade as a trainee, she soon found her feet, and quickly became a skilled stylist with a wealth of knowledge.

Recognising a demand for a specialised and luxurious doggy spa, an ambitious Shauna opened her own high-end grooming salon in Mid-Ulster in November 2017. Welcoming all paws, big or small, The Fairydogmother aims to provide a luxurious and magical experience like no other, for your pet.

November 2020 saw the newest addition to The Fairydogmother - the FDM Boutique. Stocking a range of unique and stylish pieces designed to stand out from the crowd, the FDM boutique adds a whole other meaning to Paw-shion; because why would you look good when you can look grrrreat.

Our luxury spa facility, like no other in Mid Ulster, hosts our boutique which is stocked with unique items ready to spice up your pooch's paw-drobe. It's a one-stop-shop to help transform your dog from looking ruff to ravenous.
